GT TAILLIGHTS

The light is very time consuming to make and relatively expensive. The LEDs are a preformed strip. It cost nearly $300.00 just for the LED strips. Before I produce any more taillights I need to catch up on several other projects and I need to get back to some of the recessed head light kits that went to the back burner due to several other reasons. Had some equipment problems that I use to produce the lenses for the recessed headlights.  I also want to find a better method of making the lens portion of the tail light and less expensive way to do the LED portion. The functions of the tail light are the same as a notchie. Adding one wire from the brake switch to the turn signal switch converts the GT separate turn and brake lights to the standard brake and turn signal like a notchie. Using an electronic flasher over comes the low resistance of the LEDs. It will probably be at least 3 to 6 months before I can finish projects and iron out the concerns I have with making the taillight. I'll try to get to a point of production as soon as I can, but it doesn't look like it will be any time soon. If there is anybody out there that is good with electronic circuitry it would definitely help reduce the cost of the LED portion. Individual LEDs can be purchased less expensively than the preformed ones I used on the two tail lights I have done so far.
